Market Day

Market Day was a huge success again this year! All CTL students received play money. Grades 1-2 and 3-4 planned their business around their interests. They advertised with flyers around the school and through morning meeting commercials, parents were invited and finally the big day came. They set up their own tables, brought their own display materials, greeted their customers, smiled, made change, answered questions, bargained, took down their tables and cleaned their areas and had great fun. They went back to their classrooms and counted their money and shared their learning with each other. Thank you Ms. Lipar and Ms. Welsh for an exciting way to learn many economics and math lessons. What a fun day!
