Alexa Chamberlain returns to CTL in full circle after having finished 7th and 8th grade with us from 2014-2016, our first two years as a school. Alexa dreamed of being a CTL student before we even opened. Her mother was our first principal so Alexa spent many hours at CTL during the summer as well as the school year.

Alexa says, “I fell in love with learning at CTL. Instead of following rules and taking tests that stifled my creativity, CTL encouraged me to follow my own voice and my confidence grew.” Surrounded by educators her whole life, Alexa was reading Magic Tree House books in kindergarten and publishing her own books by age 8.

Alexa is currently taking a year off from earning her degree to complete her latest YA book and send it  out for publication. In her spare time she reads, writes, draws, paints, and creates music. Alexa is excited to be back at CTL as a staff member to watch other students fall in love with learning as she did.
